Cancelling your Appointment

 

If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

Change of Address

Please let us know if you change of your name, address or telephone number or any other circumstance which may affect the practice.

If you move to an address outside the practice area, we will ask you to register with a practice that covers your new address.

Clinics & Services 

Maternity Services 

The doctors, with the assistance of the community midwife, provide maternity services including ante-natal and post-natal care, consultant shared care and midwife led care.

Contraceptive Services

The doctors will be pleased to provide confidential contraceptive advice during surgery appointments. Emergency contraception is also available. Trained practice nurses can advise on contraception and a full range of contraceptive services are provided.

Cervical Smears

A cervical smear is recommended as a routine measure every three years for all women between the ages of 25 to 50 years old and every five years for women over 50. This service is provided by our practice nurses by appointment and as part of a well woman check. Patients are informed by post of their result.

Breast Screening

All women at the practice aged between 50 and 71 are invited for breast screening (mammography) every three years. Women over 71 can ask the doctor to refer them for screening or self refer. Patients are informed by post of their result.

Minor Injuries

Minor injuries (small cuts, sprains, insect stings, etc.) can now be treated at the surgery.  There might be a wait to be seen.  Serious injuries (including broken bones) should attend A&E at Ipswich Hospital.

Care of the Elderly

All patients on long-term regular medication are advised to attend for six-monthly medication reviews.
