Cancelling your Appointment

 

If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

Change of Address

Please let us know if you change of your name, address or telephone number or any other circumstance which may affect the practice.

If you move to an address outside the practice area, we will ask you to register with a practice that covers your new address.

Felixstowe Road Medical Practice 

The practice nurses and health care assistants provide routine care, treatment and health advice. They provide the following services:

  • Child Immunisations
  • NHS Health Checks
  • Asthma Reviews
  • ECGs
  • Diabetic Reviews
  • Blood Pressure Checks
  • Coronary Heart Disease Reviews
  • Blood and urine tests
  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Reviews
  • Rheumatology Monitoring
  • Family Planning and Sexual Health
  • Wound Care
  • Weight Management

The nurses have received specialised training and attend regular update courses. If they have any reason for concern, they will refer you to the doctor.

Please note, however, that the practice nurses are unable to prescribe medication for you or renew prescriptions.

Child immunisation clinics are held on Tuesday pm and Wednesday am, however patients can make an appointment on an alternative day if more convenient.
